Welcome back, Last week, I talked about taking breaks and treating your weekends like a vacation. This week, I’m actually on a much-needed vacation with my husband and son. First of all, it feels strange to be here without my daughter—her university break isn’t until next week. And second, you might be wondering… why are you emailing (aka working) while on vacation? Well, thanks to automation, I’m not. This email was written and scheduled last week. Automation is good for so many things—especially when it comes to reducing stress and freeing up time. Here are a few ways I use it: 🔹 Finances – One of the biggest ways to relieve stress is to schedule bill payments and pay yourself first. Set up an automatic transfer so a portion of your income goes straight into savings the day after you get paid. 🔹 Work Emails – Schedule emails to send during working hours and avoid responding live after hours. It helps set boundaries for you and reduces pressure for the receiver. 🔹 Recurring Tasks – If you do something more than twice, make a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Whether it’s a work process or a household chore, having a system in place saves time and energy. 🔹 Morning Ritual – Make your routine automatic so there’s no resistance. Mine includes yoga, coffee, and scheduling my day. (Want to test my upcoming product that helps with this? Try out the prototype here!) 🔹 Meal Planning & Grocery Shopping – Set up a rotating meal plan or use a grocery delivery service to save mental energy. Less decision fatigue, more ease. 🔹 Exercise & Movement – Schedule workouts like important meetings. Or, attach movement to an existing habit—like stretching while your coffee brews. ✨ This week, your way to Burn Bright, Not Out is to embrace ease. Look at what’s stressing you out and ask: Can I automate this? Can I make it simpler? Small changes add up in a big way. With gratitude, P.S.
